Blinded By Cipher

A good eyesight is what facilitates us in carrying out our day to day activities. Be it anything, including but not restricted to walking, reading, travelling and learning. But then there are the specially gifted, who do not have the ability to see. We believe in helping the blind by bringing in technology into their lives by building a useful and feasible product. In order to get to know more about their problems and hardships, we visited a special school for the blind called National Association for the Blind. After getting to know the depth of their problems and having realised an assistance in reading is what they really require, we decided to build a product that reads out the text in front of them, which could be either a book or a newspaper, basically, anything that has text in it.
